Muskoka Yarn & Fibrefest: Whimsical Weaving Workshop

Come learn to weave with me at Muskoka Fibrefest 2026!  

Discover the joy of creating your own woven masterpiece in our Whimsical Weaving class. Unleash your creativity, one knot at a time. Starting with the basics of warping your mini-loom, Marisa from Pretty Little Yarns Ltd., will then teach you how to work plain weave, twill weave, RYA knots, soumak knots, and sinna knots! By the end of the class, you will be well on your way to having your very own little tapestry and with all the tools needed to make more!

Included:

Chip and Sparrow Mini Loom (square or circle - if you have a strong preference, please advise at time of booking)

White embroidery cotton to use for warp

Assorted yarn and fibre to create tapestry - colours may vary from photograph.

Please bring: 

Small scissors, a mid-sized crochet hook, and a small fork

Homework:
None!
